Here are the course and e-mail links to my index.html file.

       Project 2 - Resume -
I created my resume according to the model from EIU Career Services, saved the MSWord file as a .pdf file, using the Adobe software.  I posted the file, resume.pdf, to the server.  I have linked my resume to this projects page and directly from my index page.

Project 3 - Sites in Use-
www.milenia.com
These are a variety of web sites for professionals, lesson plans, and kids.

Project 4 - Technology in Schools

I explored several school sites, and considered the ways technology is supporting learning. I have written a reflective paragraph with links to examples of how technology supports learning at a selected school and at a grade level and subject area.  I also encorporated several links into a short essay.  I also show children's work from an on-line school in a linked example.

  Project 5 - Digital Image

www.whyfiles.org
I placed digital images including photos, scanned, retrieved images on previous project pages.

Project 6 - Curriculum Theme
I selected a curriculum theme (phrased as a question). Refer to the Essential Questions handout. I have provided a bulleted list of rationale statements explaining the goals and potential benefits of studying this theme. I used evaluation categories to review an excellent Web site as a teacher and/or student resource for this curriculum theme. I posted the essential question as the title of my page, the bulleted  rationale, and site evaluation, in narrative paragraphs for each evaluation category:  Accuracy and Authority, Content Relevance, Currency, and Coverage, Design and Navigation, Additional Resources. I included the site title and a link to the reviewed site with  specific examples cited from the selected site in each of the narrative paragraphs.

    Project 7 - Inspiration Software
I have used Inspiration software to develop avenues for exploration of the curriculum theme. Exported (used the File drop-down menu to find the export command) the Inspiration concept map as a .gif file and  imported onto a Composer page.  Posted this page (conceptmap.html) and the .gif file to the Web.

          Project 8 - Excel Graph
www.milenia.com
I used Excel and the GraphingWizard for a mathematical analysis related to my curriculum investigation. I displayed data and posted my graph to the Web according to the tutorial in the Fewell/Gibbs text.

Project 9 -    Ethics and  The Computing Education Field
www.saskschools.ca
Ethics and the computing education field.  The WebCT discussion.  See course calendar for details. Here, a link is provided to the Virtual Course Environment (VCE) at EIU.

Project 10 -  Web Inquiry Project
www.laserstars.org
<>I evaluated a WebQuest or Web Inquiry Project closely related to your curriculum theme.  Selected  Illinois content standards for technology and ISTE standards which are met in your WQ/WIP selected. I linked the distributed MSWord file on information literacy, inquiry, project curriculum,  constructivism , and WIP, to my curriculum theme page as a .pdf file.  We evaluated a WebQuest that related to our curriculum theme. We used the evaluation form given to evaluate the site.

Project 11 - Educational Theorist Powerpoint Presentation
www.saskschools.ca

PPT created based on one of the educational theorists reviewed at the end of Chapter 6 in the Shelly/Cashman textbook.  Presented in class.  Special features of  PPT required  as well as evidence that the David Jakes article linked in the course calendar was read and understood.  Five points extra credit for linking PPT to the Web page.  (View only available in explorer).
